On this excursion you will discover the best the Caribbean has to offer in both countries, Panama and Costa Rica. You will start your trip with a non-stop flight from Panama City Albrook Terminal to the quaint little island of Isla Colon with the main town being Bocas del Toro, Panama. During your 2 nights/3 days stay, you will explore Cayo Zapatillo, where you can try out deep boarding, the new way to snorkel. After 2 nights in this quaint little town you will cross the border and take a boat and Shuttle to Puerto Viejo de Talamanca, where you can hike through the jungle or just enjoy the beach. This package offers a variety of activities and adventure, but also plenty of time to relax!

Day 1

Domestic Flight from Panama City to Isla Colon

After a short flight from Panamas capital city (Departure Albrook Terminal) to the amazing Isla Colon where you will be able to experience the quaint town of Bocas del Toro. You will check in to Tropical suites for 2 nights. You will have the rest of the day to explore the town on your own.

Day 2

Full day Cayo Zapatillo Tour

You will go on a tour to Cayo Zapatillo, where you can try out deep boarding, the new way to snorkel. The tour includes lunch and snorkeling equipment. After a full day on and in the water, you can enjoy the evening in Bocastown or at your lodge.

Day 3

Travel to Puerto Viejo

After a short walk from your hotel to the boat dock you will travel by small passenger boat to the town of Almirante where you will then travel by shared shuttle to the border with Panama, you will cross the Rio Sixaola, pass through immigration and then take another shuttle to Puerto Viejo where you will check into Banana Azul for 3 nights You will have the rest of the day to explore the town on your own.

Shared shuttle transfer to San Jose (Option to return to Panama is also available)

Early morning pickup in Puerto Viejo with onwards transportation to San Jose in a very comfortable 12-15 person van with Wi-Fi and A/C. Please note travel time is about 5 hours so if you have a flight on this day please plan accordingly.
