All of our providers require pre-payment in order to hold space or confirm your booking. We do require payment in full in advance for most single bookings, and 50% deposit on packages starting more than 1 month out. For last minute bookings please check availability first before booking as bank fees are not refundable in case there is no space on the service requested.

Please note that all quotes given over the phone need to be re confirmed in writing as rates are subject to change last minute.

Once your service confirmed, we will email you a confirmation voucher with all the details including the confirmation numbers and pick up and or meeting times. Should a service not be available after it has been paid for we will offer a credit towards another service or refund per our refund policies.

For multi-day packages, we require a minimum 50% deposit before we start confirming hotels, tours, etc. Full payment must be received three to four weeks before the start of your tour.

If you choose to pay with a credit card the charge will be made in US dollars (Visa or MasterCard only) through our bank (Banco Nacional/BCR/BAC). However your bank may still add a “foreign transaction fee” onto your charge even if your credit card account is in US$. Should you prefer to pay via Pay-Pal please let us know and we can proceed accordingly.

In the event that your plans have changed and you will not be able to proceed with your bookings we will do our best to work with the providers and re book your service, please note fees and penalties may apply. Should refund be granted we will refund in accordance company policies.

Clients are responsible for any and all fees accrued by the provider for an modification or cancellation ,made by the client.The more notice you give us, the more likely we will be able to re book the service.

All tours and activities will run rain or shine unless the current conditions are stated as unsafe by the provider. Should the client cancel and the provider still proceed no refund or credit will be granted. Costa Rica is a rain forest so please plan on rain at anytime.

For tours within Costa Rica and Panama please always make sure to carry a copy of your valid passport and your last entry stamp with you. For day and multi-day trips that involve border-crossing you must carry your valid passport and a copy of it with you at all times. Border crossing fees may apply.

In most cases cancellations with less than 24 hours notice are not refundable. Cancellations of single bookings with less than 7 days notice are subject to provider fees (plus any bank or vendor charges).

Caribe Fun Tours is not responsible for any unforeseen event that may cause you to cancel your tour/package., This includes viruses, disease, sickness, pregnancy, weather, act of nature, or any other event non-related to Caribe Fun Tours. In order to cover refunds for these cases we recommend that you purchase a third party travel insurance in advance of your travel here in Costa Rica.

Services including crossing of an International border may accrue additional fees as determined by the provider.

Cancellation of Multi-day packages will accrue a minimum fee of $25 per booking plus any fees determined by the provider,

bank fees may also be applied based on evaluation from Costa Rica Fun tours.

Cancellations are subject to bank fees which are generally 3% to 5% of the amount. In order to avoid the fees we are always happy to apply the credit towards another service we may offer.

All cancellations must be made in writing.

Our payment partners (Visa and MasterCard via Banco Nacional, BAC, and Paypal) guarantee the security of your personal and credit card information.

Costa Rica Fun Tours is authorized by Visa, MasterCard and Banco Nacional, BCR,and BAC to accept electronic transactions. For payments made by Visa or MasterCard through the Banco Nacional Pay Pay, BCR, or BAC.
